Transforming spaces and mood through beautiful Ceramics.

Lotte believes that it is not only the artistsic value of a piece: the color, pattern, texture, depth of lights and dark, but also the artistsic process that can transform not only a feeling that a piece of her ceramics evokes but a the space that it is in too. Having been diagnoed with ADHD later in life 'Art' for her and all it encompases has always been a way of crossing over the mentall barrier between her thoughts and her emotions and a way of creating meaning and through shapes, colours and beutiful lines instead of words which didnt always come easily to her. Her ceramics have become another outlet for this process, approaching the wheel and her subsequent sculpting and moulding then glazing instinctively, without a strict recipe; allowing creativity flow freely. Just like a painter selects colors from a palette, Lotte combines her knowledge of sculpting, painting and glazing tecniques to create totally unique pieces. Therefore each work is not only functional but also serves to evokes deep emotions through its shapes, forms, and vibrant colors, ultimately transforming the viewer's experience.
